My one-to-one Maths tuition sessions are based on Zoom and are provided to primary, secondary and mature students re-doing their Maths in Creaton. My BSc Maths and Sport Science Degree, blended with my teaching experience in diverse secondary schools, has provided me with a solid mathematical skillset. Maths knowledge is one thing, but being able to explain clealy to students of different abilities in Creaton is another. My understanding of the national curriculum is solid and this is reflected in my students progress. Being youthful and enthusiastic about Mathematics allows me to build positive working relationships with my students. It is essential that students recognise why steps take place in solving questions to create a deeper understanding. I truly think that anybody can become comfortable in Mathematics by:
- Understanding the vital areas.
- Recognising errors.
- Practice!
When studying for my GCSE’s, I also had a Mathematics tutor and this completely changed my mindset on Mathematics. This pushed me to prosper in A-Level Mathematics and beyond. It is this positive impact on students eductaction that motivates me to guide my students to success!
