Tyrell is really good with children (maybe because he has a younger sibling) and shows a level of patience that I think kids needing extra help with maths need. I as a parent don't have it nor do I get the maths!! GCSE level maths seems alien to what I did wayback. Thanks Tyrell. 👍🏽

My 1-2-1 Maths tuition lessons are provided on Zoom and are obtainable for primary, secondary and mature students re-doing their Maths in Great Oakley. Each one-to-one Maths tuition lessons in Great Oakley are designed to each specific student, nevertheless their age and ability. 1-2-1 Maths tuition gives students my full attention which allows a positive environment where students can ask questions – something that a large sum of students may find difficult to do in the schools of Great Oakley!
My BSc Maths and Sport Science Degree, added with my teaching experience in contrasting secondary schools, has provided me with a great mathematical skillset. Subject knowledge is one thing, but being able to teach students of differing abilities in Great Oakley is another. My understanding of the national curriculum is strong and this is evident in my students results. Being youthful and enthusiastic about Mathematics allows me to form positive working relationships with my students. This establishes a comfortable learning environment where my students across Great Oakley can succeed in Mathematics!

It is essential that all students understand why steps occur in solving questions to establish a higher understanding. I believe that anybody can become comfortable in Mathematics by:

When preparing for my GCSE’s, I also had a Maths tutor and this truly changed my perspective on Maths. This pushed me to succeed in A-Level Maths and beyond. It is this positive impact on students learning that motivates me to guide my students to success!
