Tyrell is really good with children (maybe because he has a younger sibling) and shows a level of patience that I think kids needing extra help with maths need. I as a parent don't have it nor do I get the maths!! GCSE level maths seems alien to what I did wayback. Thanks Tyrell. 👍🏽

My 1-2-1 Maths tuition lessons are perfomed on Zoom and are provided to primary, secondary and mature students re-doing their Maths in Newton. My BSc Mathematics and Sport Science Degree, added with my teaching experience in various secondary schools, has provided me with a good mathematical skillset. Maths knowledge is one thing, but being able to explain clealy to students of differing abilities in Newton is another. My knowledge of the national curriculum is solid and this is exhibited in my students overall progress. Being young and enthusiastic about Mathematics allows me to establish positive working relationships with my students. It is imperative that children learn why steps emerge in solving problems to create a greater understanding. I honestly believe that anyone can become comfortable in Maths by:
- Mastering the important topics.
- Recognising errors.
- Practice!
When studying for my GCSE’s, I also had a Mathematics tutor and this absolutely changed my attitude on Mathematics. This led me to excel in A-Level Mathematics and beyond. It is this undeniable impact on students learning that motivates me to navigate my students to success!
