My BSc Maths and Sport Science Degree, combined with my tutor experience in contrasting secondary schools, has given me a solid mathematical skillset. Subject knowledge is one thing, but being able to explain clealy to students of many abilities in Elvaston is another. Being youthful and enthusiastic about Maths allows me to start positive working relationships with my students. When preparing for my GCSE’s, I too had a Maths tutor and this absolutely changed my outlook on Maths. My Maths tutor drove me to excel in A-Level Mathematics and beyond. It is this specific impact on students learning that drives me to take my students to success!
