My BSc Maths and Sport Science Degree, combined with my tutor experience in contrasting secondary schools, has given me a solid mathematical skillset. Despite this, when the curriculum is explained in depth and explained a step at a time, Mathematics can become straightforward to master. It is necessary that all students digest why steps occur in solving problems to create a higher understanding. I honestly think that all can become successful in Mathematics by:
- Learning the important areas.
- Recognising errors.
- Practice!
When studying for my GCSE’s, I also had a Maths tutor and this definitely changed my mindset on Maths. My Maths tutor led me to accomplish great grades in A-Level Maths and beyond. It is this specific impact on students grades that inspires me to lead my students to success!
