Tyrell is really good with children (maybe because he has a younger sibling) and shows a level of patience that I think kids needing extra help with maths need. I as a parent don't have it nor do I get the maths!! GCSE level maths seems alien to what I did wayback. Thanks Tyrell. 👍🏽

I engaged Matter of Maths for my daughter who is in Year 11. She felt there was a gap in her knowledge that needed to be addressed before her Mock exams. Tyrell has been amazing. We provided a list of topics we wanted to cover and they have been steadily working through it. The tuition is done... read more via google meet, Tyrell has his camera on ( my daughter prefers not to) and everything is completed on an interactive whiteboard. Worksheets are provided to reaffirm what has been taught during the lesson. Tyrell goes above and beyond and doesn't ever make my daughter feel silly when she doesn't fully understand something. Tyrell just patiently goes over it again. We are beyond happy with the service and would highly recommend him.

I would highly recommend Tyrell as a maths tutor. He has supported both of my step sons over the last couple of months, one who is in year 11 and the other who is in year 8. Both had been worrying about the lack of education they have received over the last year. They both have gained a lot of... read more confidence in this subject and I’m confident this will continue to grow over the next few months. Thank you Tyrell

My knowledge of the national curriculum is substantial and this is exhibited in my students academic success. Being young and driven about Maths allows me to shape positive working relationships with my students. This forms an effective learning environment where my students across Halfway Houses can prosper in Mathematics!
I am a honest believer that every student is capable of succeeding in Maths and I am motivated to give students across Halfway Houses the power and determination to succeed.
Every student can be successful with a Maths Tutor in Halfway Houses
Maths can be challenging for the majority of us in Halfway Houses. Despite this, when the curriculum is explained in depth and explained a step at a time, Mathematics can become straightforward to master. It is necessary that all students digest why steps occur in solving problems to create a higher understanding. I honestly think that all can become successful in Mathematics by:
- Learning the important areas.
- Recognising errors.
- Practice!
When studying for my GCSE’s, I also had a Maths tutor and this definitely changed my mindset on Maths. My Maths tutor led me to accomplish great grades in A-Level Maths and beyond. It is this specific impact on students grades that inspires me to lead my students to success!
