My 1-2-1 Maths tutoring lessons are based on Zoom and are obtainable for primary, secondary and mature students retaking their Mathematics in New Barn. Every single 1-2-1 Maths tutor session in New Barn is customised to each individual student, no matter their age and ability. 1-2-1 Maths tuition delivers students my full attention which provides a productive environment where students can answer questions – something that a few students may find hard to do in the classrooms of New Barn!
My BSc Maths and Sport Science Degree, blended with my tuition experience in diverse secondary schools, has given me an amazing mathematical skillset. Mathematical knowledge is one thing, but being able to tutor students of varying abilities in New Barn is another. My knowledge of the national curriculum is great and this is evident in my students results. Being youthful and driven about Maths allows me to shape positive working relationships with my students. This starts a beneficial learning environment where my students across New Barn can excel in Mathematics!

Mathematics can be strenuous for the majority of us in New Barn. Despite this, when maths areas are made simple and taught step by step, Mathematics can become uncomplicated to grasp. It is important that all students understand why steps occur in solving questions to establish a higher understanding. I honestly believe that everyone can become positive in Mathematics by:
- Learning the vital topics.
- Recognising errors.
- Practice!
When revising for my GCSE’s, I also had a Maths tutor and this totally changed my mindset on Mathematics. My Maths tutor led me to excel in A-Level Mathematics and beyond. It is this positive impact on students learning that drives me to take my students to success!
