My BSc Maths and Sport Science Degree, together with my tuition experience in differing secondary schools, has provided me with a solid mathematical skillset. Maths knowledge is one thing, but being able to explain clealy to students of differing abilities in Plain-an-Gwarry is another. My knowledge of the national curriculum is great and this is exhibited in my students progress. Being young and driven about Maths allows me to start positive working relationships with my students. When studying for my GCSE’s, I likewise had a Mathematics tutor and this really changed my mindset on Mathematics. My Maths tutor pushed me to excel in A-Level Mathematics and beyond. It is this specific impact on students eductaction that motivates me to take my students to success!
