My BSc Maths and Sport Science Degree, together with my tutor experience in different secondary schools, has provided me with a strong mathematical skillset. Subject knowledge is one thing, but being able to teach students of varying abilities in Tamar is another. My understanding of the national curriculum is strong and this is clear in my students achievements. Being young and enthusiastic about Mathematics allows me to shape positive working relationships with my students. When preparing for my GCSE’s, I also had a Maths tutor and this completely changed my view on Maths. My Maths tutor pushed me to succeed in A-Level Maths and beyond. It is this clear impact on students achievements that motivates me to guide my students to success!
