My 1-2-1 Maths tuition sessions are delivered on Zoom and are available to primary, secondary and mature students re-doing their Maths in Tintagel. Each private Maths tutoring session in Tintagel is custom made to each individual student, nonetheless their age and ability. Private Maths tutoring offers students my complete attention which allows a comfortable environment where students can answer questions – something that several students may find difficult to do in the classess of Tintagel!
My BSc Mathematics and Sport Science Degree, coupled with my tutor experience in different secondary schools, has given me a substantial mathematical skillset. Subject knowledge is one thing, but being able to tutor students of different abilities in Tintagel is another. My understanding of the national curriculum is great and this is clear in my students progress. Being youthful and enthusiastic about Maths allows me to build positive working relationships with my students. This shapes a positive learning atmosphere where my students across Tintagel can succeed in Maths!

It is necessary that students interpret why steps materialise in solving problems to establish a solid understanding. I think that anybody can become happy in Maths by:

- Recognising errors.
- Practice!
When preparing for my GCSE’s, I also had a Mathematics tutor and this really changed my mindset on Mathematics. My Maths tutor drove me to excel in A-Level Maths and beyond. It is this clear impact on students learning that drives me to tutor my students to success!
